This week is the week of ‘Good News”. Christ came that we might be freed from sin; Christ will come again and renew all of creation. He will truly – never leave nor forsake us.

How will Christ return look compared to His first presence on earth? His first appearance came quietly in a stable, the second we are told will be with loud
trumpets. Knowing how Jesus comes as conquering King calls us to live as God’s Kingdom people now.

Paul reminds the church that they have put on the ‘new self’ in the image of their creator. But some are having a hard time finding cloths that don’t clash. As a result he reminds them how to clothe themselves properly,
especially Love that binds.

While there are no WWI veterans remaining and few WWII veterans, they have left a legacy. Not only they, but also the generations that have passed before us acted in Faith to ensure that the love of God would be known from generation to generation.

With integrity we can justly stand up against intimidation! While called to serve others, we needn’t ‘put up with inappropriate behaviour or accusations.
