Blessed are the Meek for they will inherit the earth. It’s a New World Order – the Jesus way. The way of meekness, gentleness – service. It takes a lot of strength to follow Jesus, but in exercising this virtue, a promise is given – They will inherit the earth.

Christians are never done with grieving. Yes we rejoice that ours is the Kingdom of heaven, but its hard for us to live up to the grace that saves us from our own sin. It’s worth crying about – in joyful repentance. The flip side is that crying and grieving are also a launching pad for Christian growth and discipleship

We are beggars, those who know that we need to have help because our hands are totally empty. Surprise – it is the powerless and spiritually bankrupt who receive the kingdom of God. We are completely at the mercy of the Kingdom giver.
